WHY DO I NEED PRE-ASSESSMENT?

The pre-assessment is important because it helps us tailor our cleaning services to your specific needs. Initially, we used property size as a basis for estimating the condition of the house, which worked for most cases. However, as we've gained a reputation for deep, high-quality cleaning, we've encountered clients with unique requirements—properties that haven't been professionally cleaned in a long time, homes with significant clutter, pet fur, or special surfaces.

To ensure we can deliver the exceptional results our clients deserve, we introduced in-person pre-assessments. This allows us to accurately determine the right amount of resources needed for your project and keep the budget aligned with your actual needs, rather than average conditions.

As a result, your initial flat rate may be adjusted after the pre-assessment. For example, if you book a typical 3-bedroom 2-bath home, but the pre-assessment reveals a high level of "life activity" (such as several children or pets), we may need to allocate more maids and time, which could increase the cost.

Conversely, if you have a larger property but the pre-assessment indicates minimal dust, clutter, or complicated situations, you may require fewer maids and hours, leading to a lower estimate.

We believe in transparency and want to inform you in advance, so you can discuss the scope of work and budget adjustments before the cleaning begins. This way, you can make an informed decision that suits your needs.


DO YOU HAVE MILITARY, SENIOR, OR OTHER DISCOUNTS?

We do occasionally offer discounts, but our pricing is primarily based on the man-hours required to clean your home. Our goal is to establish and maintain a lasting relationship while ensuring we can allocate sufficient time to clean your home effectively. It can be challenging to provide a high-quality service on a restricted budget, as this often results in lower pay for our staff and a compromised cleaning quality, which doesn't benefit anyone.

However, if you have compelling circumstances, are in dire need of cleaning, and truly cannot afford our services, please reach out to us and communicate your situation. We frequently provide free cleaning services to individuals facing difficult life circumstances, such as those who have lost loved ones or are experiencing medical challenges. We can do this by charging full prices to our other clients, helping us maintain a balance that allows us to provide support in cases of genuine need.


DO YOU OFFER SPECIAL RATES OR SERVICES FOR VACATION RENTAL OWNERS?

WILL I ALWAYS GET THE SAME CREW?

We try our best to assign the same cleaning crew for your appointments, but we can't guarantee it. Our scheduling process is complex, with many factors like the availability of our cleaning staff, your preferred cleaning times, and the specific cleaning needs of your home. We understand that having a consistent team can enhance your experience, and we strive to make it happen whenever possible.

To increase the likelihood of having the same crew each time, you can:

  • Be flexible with your cleaning times.

  • Express to us how important it is for you to have the same team.

While we aim to maintain consistency, sometimes it's not feasible due to various factors. However, rest assured that all our cleaning teams are highly skilled and dedicated to providing you with top-notch service. In case you do have a different team for a cleaning session and are not satisfied, please let us know, and we'll address any concerns or issues promptly. Your satisfaction is our priority.


CAN YOU TELL ME MORE ABOUT YOUR HEAVY-DUTY CLEANING?

Our heavy-duty cleaning is designed to address homes that are in conditions outside of the anticipated range for a standard cleaning. These conditions typically include homes that haven't been thoroughly cleaned for several months or years, especially if there are multiple residents and pets involved. The home may exhibit various issues like clutter, spoiled food, mold, grease on the walls, excessive pet fur, disconnected utilities (water or electricity), animal waste indoors, or strong odors of animals or cigarettes.

Here's what happens if your home falls into this category:

  1. Standard Cleaning: We can still provide service for the anticipated amount of time, which is roughly equivalent to the time needed for a regular home. In this case, you can prioritize which areas are most important for cleaning (e.g., kitchen and bathrooms). While we won't be able to complete all the items on our deep cleaning checklist (e.g., window tracks, cabinets, lighting fixtures), many clients are still satisfied with the results.

  2. Heavy Duty Cleaning: You can select our "heavy-duty" option before the job, which involves an additional cost. This option allows us to better prepare for the scope of work by sending a larger team of maids, providing extra time, and using modified equipment and supplies. Your home will undergo a significant transformation after this service. If you haven't chosen this option ahead of time, we may offer it on the spot if we can accommodate it by, for example, canceling or rescheduling the subsequent booking for your cleaning crew.

  3. Cancellation: If you feel that the condition of your home is beyond what you're comfortable with or you prefer not to proceed with the cleaning, you can simply cancel the job. We won't charge you anything for the canceled service.

We aim to provide flexibility and options to address varying home conditions while ensuring your satisfaction with the results.


WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY NEARLY THE FULL PRICE EVEN IF TWO BEDROOMS DO NOT NEED TO BE CLEANED?

Our pricing model is based on the size of your home, estimated by the number of bedrooms it has, rather than charging for cleaning each individual bedroom separately. However, we do offer a $10 discount for each bedroom that doesn't require cleaning. Here's why we use this pricing approach:

  1. Predictable and Simple Pricing: By tying our prices to the number of bedrooms, we provide a straightforward and predictable pricing structure for our clients. This simplifies the booking process and helps clients quickly determine the cost of their cleaning service.

  2. Resource Allocation: Our pricing model is designed to allocate the appropriate amount of time and resources to each job. For example, if you book a 3-bedroom home, we'll send a team of two maids for an estimated three hours. This allocation ensures that we can provide thorough and high-quality cleaning for your home.

  3. Quality Assurance: When clients book a specific number of bedrooms, our maids prepare for the expected workload. If you don't need to clean one or two bedrooms, the remaining areas of your home, such as bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces, may require extra cleaning time. We want to ensure that our maids have enough time to deliver a high level of service.

  4. Efficiency: Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens can be more labor-intensive than bedrooms. By estimating the size of your home based on the number of bedrooms, we allocate the appropriate amount of time for these demanding areas.

  5. Consistency: This pricing approach allows us to maintain consistency in our service quality, regardless of variations in the number of bedrooms that need cleaning.

While it may seem initially unfair if you don't need to clean one or two bedrooms, we believe that our approach ultimately benefits our clients by providing a high-quality and consistent cleaning service. HOW MANY MAIDS DO YOU SEND?

We send the right number of maids to clean your home based on how big it is and what kind of cleaning you need. Smaller places might only need one or two maids, while bigger homes or tougher jobs might need more. We want to make sure your place gets cleaned well and in a reasonable amount of time, so we send the right team for the job. For instance, if it's a regular service for 2-bedroom apartment, one or two maids may be enough.  If it's a 5,000 square foot mansion requiring a move-out service, we will send 4-6 maids. 


DO WE HAVE TO BE HOME FOR CLEANING?

No, you don't have to be home while we clean. You can leave a key for us and let us know how to get into your place. We'll take care of the cleaning and make sure everything is locked up when we're done.


WHAT ABOUT THE SUPPLIES?

We bring all the supplies needed for the cleaning service. This includes eco-friendly products like Method and Barkeeper's Friend, as well as steam cleaning equipment. However, in cases where eco-friendly solutions may not be strong enough, we may offer the option to use stronger cleaning products. These products are still non-toxic and from reputable brands. If you have a specific product or tool you'd like us to use, just let us know, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.

The time it takes to clean your home can vary depending on several factors. During the first cleaning appointment, it may take a bit longer as we become familiar with your home and its specific needs. Subsequent cleanings tend to be faster.

The duration of the cleaning also depends on the current condition of your home. Some homes are well-maintained and may only need a touch-up or specific additional services, while others may require more time due to factors like clutter or accumulated dust and dirt.

In general, for smaller homes, a cleaning session can take between one to three hours, while larger homes may require two to four hours. If your home has unique conditions that require additional time, we will communicate this with you promptly and provide options to ensure your home is thoroughly cleaned.
