TERMS OF SERVICE

We take great pride in our work and are dedicated to assisting our customers with a wide range of cleaning needs. However, to ensure that we maintain our high standard of quality, there are certain limitations on what we can provide:

  1. We retain the right to cancel any service for any reason. Please note that racism, sexism, or any form of disrespect towards our staff will lead to an immediate and permanent termination of service. We are committed to maintaining a respectful and inclusive environment for both our customers and our staff.

  2. The health and safety of our staff are of utmost importance. Therefore, our staff is not permitted to:

    • Climb heights beyond what can be reached with a three-step ladder.

    • Move or lift heavy furniture that requires the assistance of another person.

    • Clean biohazard substances, including animal or human waste.

    • Clean areas infested with insects.

    • Clean areas with mold.

    • Perform any other tasks that may jeopardize their health or safety.

    We prioritize the well-being of our staff and take precautions to ensure their safety in all cleaning tasks.

  3. We want to emphasize that we do not assume liability for the health and safety of your pets. While we are very mindful and careful about your pets during our cleaning services, you, as the pet owner, are in the best position to ensure their safety and well-being. Please take the necessary precautions to secure your pets during our cleaning visits.

  4. It's important to note that Superb Maids exercises reasonable care when cleaning, and we carry insurance to cover damage or breakage caused by our maids. However, there are certain conditions and items for which we are not liable, including:

    1. Normal Wear and Tear: We are not responsible for damage considered to be part of normal wear and tear.

    2. Improper Installation: Any damage resulting from the improper installation of an item is not covered.

    3. Artwork, Collectibles, or Family Heirlooms Valued Over $200: Items falling into this category are not covered by our liability, unless they are disclosed at the time of making the appointment in writing.

    4. Carpet & Rug Snags: Snags in carpets or rugs resulting from normal wear and tear, moving furniture, or vacuuming are not covered.

    5. Broken Blinds: Blinds can become brittle with sun exposure and aging. Any damage to blinds during cleaning is not covered.

    6. Improperly Hung Decorations: Items like pictures, decorations, and mirrors should be securely and properly attached to the wall. We are not responsible for items falling if they are correctly installed.

    7. Woodwork, Vintage/Antique Wood Furniture, Un-finished Furniture: Please inform us if your woodwork, wooden furniture, or vintage wooden furniture is not sealed or made of materials other than wood. Special care instructions should be communicated in advance.

    If you have specific cleaning product preferences or wish to supply your own cleaning products for particular items such as furniture or pianos, please notify us via email or mail with the preferred products you'll provide.

    In the event of damage or perceived damage, please notify Superb Maids within 24 hours of the cleaning appointment. We will do our best to resolve the issue and find a reasonable solution.

  5. To provide our cleaning services effectively, we require access to both electricity and water. If your utilities, such as electricity or water, are turned off during the scheduled cleaning, we would be happy to reschedule your service to a time when these utilities are functioning properly. Your cooperation in ensuring these essential services are available is greatly appreciated.

  6. If your home is in a significantly challenging condition, such as broken glass, excessive clutter, or a "hoarder's living space," we will make every effort to bring it to a livable and habitable standard. However, please be aware that the final result may not be comparable to the level of cleanliness we can achieve in a standard home. Before initiating such a cleaning job, we will engage in a thorough discussion with you, both in advance and upon arrival at the site, to assess the situation and strategize the best approach. We will also document the condition of the space through before-and-after photographs for potential sharing and internal company discussions on how to handle such situations effectively. Additionally, we may use photos of our work for social media purposes, ensuring that no identifiable information, such as personal details or specific locations, is included in the images. Your privacy and comfort are important to us, and we appreciate your understanding in these situations.

  7. Our appointment scheduling is meticulously planned, and any last-minute cancellations or rescheduling can significantly disrupt our operations and cause losses to both the company and our staff. As a result, we have implemented a 48-hour notice requirement for cancellations or rescheduling, which includes a $100 cancellation/rescheduling fee.

    However, we do understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we may be able to waive this fee in certain cases, such as when we can fill the appointment slot with another booking or if there is a valid and serious reason for the cancellation. We appreciate your understanding of our cancellation policy, which helps us maintain the efficiency of our services.

  8. When you engage Superb Maids for our services, you agree not to solicit or hire any staff member who has been introduced to you by Superb Maids for any home-related services. We invest substantial time and resources in finding, interviewing, conducting reference and background checks, and providing training to our maids. Upon their hiring, they sign an agreement that prohibits them from performing any home-related services for our past or current customers.

    If, for any reason, you wish to employ one of our staff members directly, we kindly request that you discuss this matter with our owner. It's important to note that if you are found to have solicited or hired one of our staff members without proper discussion and agreement, our referral and training fee is $5,000 per hired employee. We consider our employees to be our most valuable asset and assess this fee accordingly to protect our investments in their training and development. Your cooperation in respecting this policy is greatly appreciated.

  9. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Superb Maids, its subsidiaries, agents, licensors, managers, and other affiliated companies, as well as their employees, owners, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, including attorney's fees, arising from:

    1. Your use of any cleaning services provided to you and performed by Superb Maids' representatives.

    2. Any alleged or actual loss or damage to property, including your residence, resulting from the performance of Superb Maids' cleaning services.

    This means that you will be responsible for covering any legal expenses or financial liabilities that may arise due to your use of our cleaning services or any property damage claims associated with our services.

  10. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Superb Maids does not provide warranties, endorsements, guarantees, or assume responsibility for the cleaning services, including the cleaning services performed by Superb Maids' representatives, or any losses or damages that may result from these services. The service, including our cleanings, is offered to you on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Your use of the service is at your own risk.

    To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, workmanlike quality, or non-infringement. Without limiting the foregoing, Superb Maids, its subsidiaries, and its licensors do not warrant that the service is accurate, reliable, or correct; that the service will meet your requirements; or that the service will be available at any particular time or location, uninterrupted, or secure.

    This disclaimer outlines that you use our cleaning services and the service in general at your own risk. We do not provide any explicit or implied warranties regarding the service, and we do not guarantee its accuracy, reliability, or availability. Your use of our services is subject to these terms and conditions, and you assume any associated risks.
